STW 06SU25 OL – Geologic History:  Blue & White Marble Planet and Its Partners

The blue and white marble planet that we call Earth…. how did it come to be? How did the early earth evolve from a hot, hostile piece of rock to the “water planet” we know today ? What has gone on for the last 4.5 billion years ? And how long does our home have left? And how did Earth’s partner and nearest celestial neighbor form?

It’s been 50 years since humans stepped foot on the Moon. What new facts and theories have scientists uncovered  about the Moon, including the discovery of mini moons? Join us to learn about the geological history of these two bodies and a few others in our neighborhood.
