FTK 01SU26 American Flag – History, Proper Care & Respect

Explore the history, symbolism and traditions of the American Flag.  We will discuss proper care, handling and etiquette associated with the flag, as well as its historical development.  We will discuss earlier versions that preceded the current design and the many names used to refer to the flag.

Darrell Simmerman holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Purdue University. He loves musical productions on stage and in the cinema and writes poetry, songs, and short stories.  Darrell has taught at multiple universities and was the developer, manager and trainer of the Information Technology Curriculum for National Health Labs, Inc. while in Dallas.
