Course Description

When lives are on the line, confidence and competence matter. The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course prepares healthcare professionals and students to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies with speed, precision, and teamwork. Through instructor-led, hands-on training, participants develop the critical skills needed to deliver high-quality CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and provide effective ventilation for adults, children, and infants.

Designed for healthcare providers and individuals entering healthcare professions, this course emphasizes evidence-based resuscitation techniques, team dynamics, and rapid response to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course and skills assessment, participants will receive a two-year American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course completion card.
