Course Description

As American travelers, we tend to go to popular Western European countries.  However, there are other great places to explore.  In this class, we will move across Eastern Europe – from the Balkans to the Caspian Sea.  Classes will include:Romania, Republic of Georgia and Azerbaijan

Mary Williams was raised in Wisconsin and received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan.  She moved to Texas in 1959 to teach music and art in D.I.S.D. and piano at home.  She received her M.B.A. in 1980, then worked in business developing training programs for companies.  Since her retirement in 1999, Mary has been an active member of music and peace organizations, a volunteer, student, traveler, and host for foreign visitors.  She enjoys photography, learning new things, gardening, reading, speaking, and presenting programs on her travels.
