Course Description

Does reality exist in the way we perceive it?  Do our senses tell us the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?  Our sensory systems take clues from the outside world to construct virtual realities that help us survive, partially based on truth.  Come explore the amazing story of how our senses inform and deceive us to enhance our odds of survival.

Dr. Paul Tobolowsky, M.D. is a retired physician, lecturer, and the author of Stardust Dancing (A Seeker's Guide to the Miraculous).  His special interest is the intersection between science and spirituality.  Dr. Tobolowsky enjoys sharing his extensive medical knowledge and participating in lively discussions with the SAIL students.
