Course Description

If you like plots wrapped in an enigma, if you like characters clothed in the mystery of guilt of murder (or not) confined to both prison and mental institution, if you like fiction based on famous actual murders, then this is the book for you.  It is a wonderful read with Atwood’s enticing prose leading you all the way through.  The book is a bit long (460 pages), so allow yourself time to read and enjoy it.  We will discuss four chapters in each class.

Suggestion:  Read the book before you watch the film
