Discusses the basic principles of pharmacology and the clinical and pharmacological treatment of sleep disorders. Addresses the use of sleep medication in children, adolescents, and the elderly. Examines the administration, mode of action, and the physiological effects of pharmacological agents on sleep.

To complete the program, the following seven courses must be completed with passing scores: PSGT 1000, PSGT 1040, PSGT 2005, PSGT 2011, PSGT 2050, PSGT 2071, and RSPT 1037. This section will be delivered online with no required face-to-face sessions within the section and no on- campus activity requirements. Additional requirements may include test proctoring with student authentication, a desktop or laptop computer (not a mobile device), a webcam, and/or a microphone.
