Course Description

The Mediation and Dispute Resolution Certificate Training course provides education, training, and skill development for students interested in serving as a neutral third party court-appointed mediator. Students will analyze various case studies and role play a mediation session. The Mediation and Dispute Resolution Certificate course meets the 40-hour requirement per Texas State Law Section 154.052. The course will also meet the Standards of the Texas Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedures Act (Texas ADR).
