Course Description

This course offers an introduction to watercolor painting with a focus on hands-on learning through instructor guidance. You will develop skills using basic watercolor tools to create paintings of landscapes, simple buildings, and still-life compositions. Emphasis is placed on applying fundamental rules of design and composition, along with sketching techniques to accurately capture subject matter. Regardless of previous experience, students progress at their own pace through instruction during class exercises. Both beginning and intermediate artists are encouraged to enroll to build technical proficiency and artistic confidence.
