Course Description

The Foundations of Makeup course introduces students to essential product knowledge, brushes, tools, and terminology used in the professional makeup industry. Emphasis is placed on proper safety, sanitation, and infection control practices. Students will explore face shapes, color theory, highlighting and contouring, and corrective techniques while completing basic makeup applications. The course also covers foundational hairstyling techniques designed to complement makeup artistry.
