Course Description

The Salon Trainer course is designed to prepare licensed Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, Manicuring, and Massage professionals to become influential trainers and leaders within salons/spas/schools. This course provides advanced instruction in training techniques, communication skills, and regulatory compliance to ensure consistency, quality, and excellence in salon/shop/spa services.
Participants will learn how to plan and deliver structured training sessions, mentor team members, and evaluate performance while upholding TDLR sanitation and safety standards. Emphasis is placed on leadership development, adult learning principles, and professional growth within the salon environment. Prerequisite: Active license and/or certificate in TDLR Cosmetology, TDLR Barbering, esthetics, manicure, massage, or makeup artistry.
