RDA Review and Exam Course
This Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Review and Exam Course is designed to help prepare the Dental Assistant for the examination required by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) covering Texas Infection Control, Jurisprudence, and Radiology. The student will learn the CDC infection control standards, waste management, and techniques to prevent cross contamination. Licensing, relevant legal terminology, ethics and radiology techniques will also be taught. Included in the course is a TSBDE-approved examination.
At least 3 months of dental experience is strongly recommended for this course.
- Gain an understanding of Infection Control, Jurisprudence, and Radiology
- Prepare to take the State Board exam required for Dental Assistants to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
- Complete the State Board RDA Exam.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation Monitoring Certification Review and Exam Course
The Nitrous Oxide Sedation Monitoring Review and Exam Course is designed to prepare the dental auxiliary to obtain certification in nitrous oxide monitoring as mandated by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE).
- Learn Texas Jurisprudence relating to Nitrous Oxide
- Discuss and recognize management of medical emergencies
- Review sedation in pediatric dentistry
- Learn about social use and abuse of nitrous oxide
- Complete the Nitrous Oxide Sedation Monitoring Exam
