The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) gives eligible students certain rights regarding their education records, including student financial accounts. In accordance with FERPA, a student’s account and payment information may only be provided to the student with the exception of Directory Information.

In compliance with FERPA, information classified as "directory information" may be released to the general public without the prior written consent of the student. Directory information includes:

Participation in officially recognized activities and sports
Weight and height of athletic team members
Dates of attendance/enrollment
Most recent previous education institution attended
Degrees and awards received

Official college-issued email address
